I wanted to bring awareness to the horrible conditions of puppy mills that are breeding dogs like crazy even though there are already plenty of shelters with cats and dogs looking for homes. I also think that people should consider getting a pet if they don't already have one (except for if they can't afford one, etc). Pets have great benefits and are good companions, especially for people living alone.
